Radiation oncology services

I am board certified in radiation oncology and work at Yuma Regional Medical Center. Our team can locally deliver external beam radiation services such as: stereotactic body radiation therapy, intensity modulated radiation therapy, 3D conformal radiation therapy, and stereotactic radiosurgery.

Veterans and Active Duty Military

I recommend that you have your military medical records reviewed by a medical professional to identify valid disability claims. If you are active duty, this should be done at least one year prior to separating. Volunteers at the DAV and other organizations that screen medical records do a good job, but many do not have a medical background. I encourage you to contact me for further information. Unfortunately, the military culture will not encourage you to seek treatment when injured and if it isn't documented in your medical record, it is much harder to prove your injury occurred while on active duty.

Volunteer activities

My current commute has saved me an hour per day of driving since leaving San Diego. I have more time to be a part of my community. I coached the Yuma Lutheran Flag Football team for two years, become involved with the Journey Church, and have been honored to participate in numerous volunteer activities in our community. Fort Yuma Rotary and Caballeros de Yuma have allowed me to volunteer throughout our community.

Why Yuma?

When I was looking at retiring from the Navy, I wanted to spend more time with the family, less time on the road. I love this city and the lifestyle that I can have. The Yumans have a fantastic community and I have found that I am always surrounded by good people. You don’t find that in many communities. This region has allowed me to return to the outdoor activities of my youth: mountain biking, hunting, hiking, etc.

Personal interests

I love the outdoors. From trail riding, archery and rifle hunting, hiking, it is all a blast. I am an avid follower of Navy Football, USC Football and our local Wildcats, Sun Devils and Cardinals.
